USA, 2670. After the death of the Apes came from the future Zira and Cornelius, his son Caesar took the power, aiming not to slavery but to the coexistence with the humans. After the conquest of the city, Caesar and his apes, among which includes a group of humans, have founded a settlement far in which they have lived for 12 years. Despite the destruction caused by a bomb, a man called MacDonald (who helped Caesar in the past ) says that in the city there are some preserved tapes that are fortified in which Cornellious and Zira are talking about the future of the planet Earth. Believing that there they can find the truth, Caesar gathers a group to do a search for those files in the ruined city discovering that a race of mutant humans (the same mutants of the second movie) who are still hostile against the apes. Upon his return to the settlement the fighting is getting multiplied, and the mutants declare the war against the apes at the same time there is an insurgence by the gorillas lead by Aldo whom put in danger the connivance , and the only chance of surviving of all the species.

So, in summary, intelligent apes appear on earth from the future, which is paradoxical, since without their arrival, they would not exist, then apes are domesticated and used as pets but after that they rebel, but never managed to overcome humans, the human society is destroyed in a nuclear war, some of them remain on the surface where live among the apes, but in the end these would take control and subjugate them, and eventually humans would be sent to live like animals, where they eventually lose the power of speech, the other humans that were war survivors took refuge below the citys where develop mutations and a great psychic powers, but they will be the few.

Excellent series, but as Terminator could not explain the temporal paradox, the apes develop intelligence due to the visit of apes from the future that would not travel in time if there hadn’t been intelligent apes before, but whatever, the temporal paradox is not the main plot, and it is a very good series, I liked it a lot.
